Hi there! My name is Alyssa and I love to travel…hence, Alyventures. While Kentucky is my home, I did a brief stint in San Diego for a few years dabbling in professional theatre and event planning. I’m a music educator and performing arts director who is passionate about arts equity for all.
My hobbies and projects are varied and numerous…mostly left unfinished unless I’m hyperfocused. My passions are easy: family, dogs, British mysteries and coffee.
As retirement draws closer, my focus here is to reflect on what’s been, navigate what’s happening and plan for destinations just over the horizon.
